I’ve photographed architecture and interiors professionally since 2006, but I’ve been making art my entire life. For my undergraduate degree, I studied Art, Theatre & Set Design, and shortly thereafter discovered Photoshop & digital art. I fell in love with architectural photography while working as a Photoshop retoucher for a travel photography company. So I set out to learn the craft!
I love bringing attention to good design. In my years of professional photography I’ve been fortunate to work with architects, designers, artists & builders on a vast number of residential, corporate and other development & commercial projects.
I appreciate working in a field that makes full use of my knowledge of digital photography & artistic composition. I use a Nikon D850 & Z6ii with the best available lenses, including a wide-angle tilt-shift lens, for large photo & extra-large panoramic images. My goal is to produce images that capture & emphasize beauty & artistic design, while aiming to achieve the natural look we see with our eyes. The result is high-quality, high-resolution photos to meet every need.
Born in Victoria, BC, I lived in the US & Japan briefly before returning home to Canada. I currently live in Metro Vancouver with my wife & three children. When not photographing buildings & interiors or working on other art, I’m often out taking landscape photographs.
